Product update

Dig first. Then ask.

You don’t have to start with a prompt. Explore the data yourself, then bring Callie into the conversation.

Sometimes you know exactly which query you want to run. Asking someone else to write it would just get in the way.

Calliope’s Data Explorer gives you a place to do your own digging. Browse the available data, filter it, and pivot it without writing SQL. If SQL is how you think, there’s a client for that too.

The short recording above walks through both, then puts the results on the Stage.

Your starting point can be a result

Once you’ve found something interesting, add it to the Stage and start a conversation from there. You’ve already done part of the investigation. That work can become the context for the next question.

Maybe the numbers look odd. Maybe you want a second opinion on the comparison. Maybe you have the right rows and need something useful built around them.

You don’t need to begin again with a description of what you found.

It goes both ways

Callie’s queries can open back up in the Explorer. Inspect the SQL, change it, run your own variation, and carry on.

You can delegate the work and still keep your hands on the data.

That matters to me as someone who has spent a lot of time in SQL clients. A conversation is a useful way into a problem. So is a table you’ve been staring at for ten minutes. Both belong in the same workspace.
